A LITTLE BIT ABout ME.

I was born in Basildon, England in July 1979, and came to the states at the wise old age of 5 months. I've lived my entire life bouncing around about a dozen places I’ve called home here in New Jersey and attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia, graduating with a degree in Graphic Design in 2001. After 3 years climbing scaffolding in NYC, I landed a job at an ad agency in 2005. I parted ways after 15 years with McCann and set off on my own as a freelancer Helping to work through creative challenges for multiple Agencies in the NYC area.

during the mid to late 90s, I spent countless weekends painting walls and train lines As a graffiti writer with a subset of friends for more than 10+ years. THAT TIME has continued to influence all of my work, both professional and personal.

In addition to my background as a graffiti writer and my appreciation of design from my career in advertising, I’m also heavily influenced by the NYC artists of the 50s and 60s. Rothko, Franz Kline, De Kooning, Jasper Johns, and works by Warhol, Basquiat, and Keith Haring in later decades.

I married my best friend, Lauren in October 2012. In November 2016, we welcomed our amazing son Wes into this crazy world. He is and will always be my best work to date.

In June of 2018 we took a leap and opened Gallery L, an Art Gallery and Creative Space in downtown Montclair, NJ. After an amazing year we closed our doors as I continued to learn, grow and shape not only my work but myself.

I’m truly grateful for all of the interest and support of my creative work.
